The best time of day to shoot?

Twilight photos are arguably always the best time of day to shoot luxury homes and properties that need extra help to stand out on the market. Twilight only happens twice every 24 hours-before sunrise and after sunset.
For many home owners, shooting during the day is the easiest option and more cost efficient. During day time, consider the direction your property is facing for the "money shot."

East-facing
-morning is the best time to shoot.

West-facing
-afternoon is great.

North-facing
-any time between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM is ideal.

South-facing
-you’ll want your photos taken early in the morning, or late in the day.

If your listing has great views of
-Pine Mountain, morning is best.
-The Kayenta Red Cliffs, afternoon is ideal, late afternoon is preferable.

The goal is for the sun to be behind the photographer lighting up the subject for the main exterior shot. Shadowed homes can be edited to work, but are lack the color. The only exception to this is sunrise/sunset shots so a color-filled sky can saturate the photo from behind the home.
